Hello from Provo!

Hey Family!
Hooray for the family blog! I had a hard time finally getting on because Kristi sent me an email at myfamily.com, and I didn't find it until just now. Do we have a place on here for some kind of list of everyone's email?
As for an update on the provo life, I had my token all-nighter of the semester on Wednesday night. I wrote a research paper about homeschooling, but when I finished at 3:30 am, I still had a Hebrew quiz at 8am to study for, so that kept me up even longer. But that was my only huge paper of the semester, so now I just have finals to study for. I am turning in my application for the BYU Jerusalem Center as soon as I get my "permission slip" from dad, and my interview with the stake president. I'm hoping to get in for spring term, may through june 2008.
Today in my cooking class, we made gobbs and gobbs of candy, so now I am an expert at that, and expect to be trying some of the recipes during Christmas break. Actually, I can't really call myself an expert yet because the recipes that my group made didn't involve the candy thermometer. I hear that's the hardest part.
Today in Women's chorus we got to record a couple of the songs we have been working on this semester. I wish that you could all hear us. I should be getting an archival CD with all our performances for the entire year in April, so I will share that then for sure. Next weekend is our big Christmas concert, and I am so excited! I have never actually been to the Christmas Choir concert because it gets sold out so fast, and I've never gotten tickets in time. But now I am in the concert, which is where I'd rather be anyway.
I would keep writing, since I'm a very long winded typer, but I'm using a computer where the keyboard to screen connection has a serious delayed reaction. I have to use my room mates computer since mine is not working at the present moment. I love you guys! Keep blogging!

BRRRR BRRRR BRRR

Did I mention it is cold here?? We are expecting our first major Snow Storm too. I will keep you posted.

Our furnace went out just in time for the snow too. Oh the joys of home ownership.

We are going to take our Christmas picture this year and include the new additions to our family, We now can choose to take it in front of the Washer and Dryer that had to be replaced or in front of the new heating and cooling unit.

Good news, because we were frozen out of our house last night we spent the night at "Hotel Aase". Jan and Laci have a beautiful new house and it was fun to sleep in their guest sweet.

Mom is Bogging You can too!!!

I just got off the phone with Mom, I think she is going to be able to do this. How exciting.

Beleive it or not this is from MOM

Ells & I just got back frim N Carolina, where we visited Danny Egli who is in a fed prison there for bein caught with child porn on his computor. His sentence is for four years. He has five months left.He has survived and looks pretty good considering. We were therre for about three hours. Left to drive home, but smartly Ells stopped around 7 pm and we found a motel in South Boston (VA) We stayed in Durham NC Wed night and Ell looked up an old friend who is now a prof at Duke University. We went to lunch at the Duke Country Club for lunch, and it was decorated so Beautifully for christmas I thouroghly enjoyed it. His name was John Tierborg He was dad's birding buddy for years. It was fun to see them enjoy each others company again. I did pull out the family picture of our 20 grand children as our claim to faim..
Dad awas embarrassed! I bought a wig. Dad was embarrasswd again! I love it, and feel a little liberated.. Hope all is well LOVE YA MOM

Thanksgiving and Jamestown: Tim

We really enjoyed getting away for Thanksgiving. On Wednesday it was warm enough for me to go on the roof and spread some gloop over some flashing. Now I'm just waiting for the next big rain to test it. If the roof still leaks- that's one more thing to cross off of the possible source list.

We left for Richmond on Friday. We took a down 15 to Warrenton then to Fredricksburg. It only took us a couple of hours to get to Richmond- then 2 more to find Melinda's place- we were so lost it was funny (at least now it seems funnier than it did then)

We finally got to Jamestown this year. Lisa's been wanting to go for the big 400. Here is a picture or two-
If you find a way to put the pictures in the text rather than at the top of the blog let me know.
Cheers-
Tim

The First of Many

We have arrived in the 21st Century! Knudson's Unite!

I hope that this Blog can bring us together to share thoughts, jokes, insights, memories, (and for Tim, a place to brag about how great SVU is, but I digress)

Let's just see how it works before you you disagree with my idea.

Call me if you have any question. Otherwise, we will meet in the "blogosphere"

Happy Thanksgiving. Wish I could be there with you all
