Hey Family!
Hooray for the family blog! I had a hard time finally getting on because Kristi sent me an email at myfamily.com, and I didn't find it until just now. Do we have a place on here for some kind of list of everyone's email?
As for an update on the provo life, I had my token all-nighter of the semester on Wednesday night. I wrote a research paper about homeschooling, but when I finished at 3:30 am, I still had a Hebrew quiz at 8am to study for, so that kept me up even longer. But that was my only huge paper of the semester, so now I just have finals to study for. I am turning in my application for the BYU Jerusalem Center as soon as I get my "permission slip" from dad, and my interview with the stake president. I'm hoping to get in for spring term, may through june 2008.
Today in my cooking class, we made gobbs and gobbs of candy, so now I am an expert at that, and expect to be trying some of the recipes during Christmas break. Actually, I can't really call myself an expert yet because the recipes that my group made didn't involve the candy thermometer. I hear that's the hardest part.
Today in Women's chorus we got to record a couple of the songs we have been working on this semester. I wish that you could all hear us. I should be getting an archival CD with all our performances for the entire year in April, so I will share that then for sure. Next weekend is our big Christmas concert, and I am so excited! I have never actually been to the Christmas Choir concert because it gets sold out so fast, and I've never gotten tickets in time. But now I am in the concert, which is where I'd rather be anyway.
I would keep writing, since I'm a very long winded typer, but I'm using a computer where the keyboard to screen connection has a serious delayed reaction. I have to use my room mates computer since mine is not working at the present moment. I love you guys! Keep blogging!

Megan,
Thanks so much for writing. I would love to read your paper on Home Schooling. What class did you have to write it for? Are you learning to write Hebrew or speak? Any pictures from the BYU Game??
So, I just noticed that we have no way of knowing who it is writing comments unless they sign them...unless we all make our own usernames separate from this one. Which I did. And unless you are a really good guesser, which I am. lol. Anyway, I wrote my paper for my Families in Communities class. And, I am learning biblical Hebrew, so just reading for now. I may take a modern class before I leave BYU. It would be nice to know some functional vocabulary. I think becca has pictures from the game. I'll tell her to post some. We had amazing 5th row seats.
Yeah, you'll definitely have to make some candy over Christmas break. P.S. How was your pie?
